![]() ![]() You know about glitches, right? They're what happen when a game, doing the thousands of complex calculations necessary to just show a guy standing there, on your screen, just trips over itself. But odds are Comrades isn't going anywhere either. At its core, the game is a very busted take on Monster Hunter, and hey, a great new Monster Hunter is out next week, maybe we should play that. We could be spending our very limited video game time playing something that, at the very least, works without such an absurd amount of effort. You are, effectively, a cable guy with a huge freaking sword.įor my squad of comrades, most of the time we spend in Comrades is spent bitching about Comrades, musing about how little a difference it would make if we fought alongside each other or robots while we all got killed by a giant magic cheetah for the fifth time. Then you're tasked with helping bring power to refugees, mostly by fighting monsters. You, as an amnesiac former soldier, can design and name yourself. That is, if you can get the thing to work.īecause of confusing plot stuff that happens in Final Fantasy XV, the world is plunged into literal darkness and no one has any power. With the hilariously convoluted full title Final Fantasy XV: Multiplayer Expansion-Comrades, you could now play one of the most curious blockbuster video games with friends. However, that changed in November of 2017, when, in developer Square Enix's ongoing quest to flesh out Final Fantasy XV, a multiplayer expansion was released for $19.99. ![]() The second is that it's entirely a single-player game. The story's barely comprehensible, and the game's missing features have slowly been added one at a time since it was released in the fall of 2016. The first is that, despite how much the three of us liked the game, it is also kind of broken. There are two things you should probably understand about Final Fantasy XV before we continue. ![]() In this case, the bad game was very easy for us to get into, because it came attached to a game that we already liked- Final Fantasy XV. But we're still playing it, because we're delinquents, and because sometimes bad games are exactly what you didn't know you wanted. User 2: oh if you just meant the background and not the logo then it's a day night cycle that it rotates through. For the last couple of weeks I, along with a couple of fellow suckers GQ colleagues, have been playing a video game that we all-charitably-have decided is bad. i rly hope there is some way to do it, because i rly prefer the darker one. User 3: nahhh im running a second playthrough since a couple of days, and it did not change back. User 2: i'm not really sure, maybe if you start a new game and then return to title it might switch back. but can you change it back to the original title screen? I kinda liked it. However, from the same thread, it looks like the background (but not the logo) changes on a day-night cycle: I personally wish you could choose the original title screen musice (love the Somnus theme more than the one we get after winning). Or cycle them randomly everytime you open the title screen.Īnd from, this thread, the desire to change titles at will implies the lack of ability to do so: :-) Hope this helps your problem! So far that is the only solution, I really hope they let us change it in the future. As you've noticed, the title screen changes once you have beaten the game.ĭelete your save files, lol. Apparently, you are not able to do this manually. ![]()
